The course is mandatory for those who want to obtain sea competence “Skipper of seagoing vessel of up to 40GT”. The theoretical and practical training includes acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills so that the holder of this certificate of competence is able to navigate safely in the specific navigational area, exercise care to protect human life at sea and exercise care to protect the ship’s cargo and observe the rules and regulations for preventing marine pollution; he shall be familiar with the responsibilities, rights and duties applicable to the capacity in which he is going to serve.
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO START THE COURSE
- A copy of the diploma for completed education - minimum secondary school diploma
- At least 18 years of age
- A certificate of medical fitness issued by a medical institution approved by the EA Maritime Administration
- 2 piece photographs, passport format (3.5x4.5cm.)
